Michio Kaku on Physics of the Impossible

April 2nd, 2009

I interviewed Dr. Michio Kaku last spring. This is the first of several excerpts from the interview. Dr. Kaku talks about where he got his inspiration for his book, The Physics of the Impossible. Distributed by Tubemogul.

I plan to release the hour-long interview in its entirety in little bite-sized chunks over the next several weeks. There are some gems of wisdom to look forward to!

Thanks for bring Dr. Kaku to us, Kiki. Looking forward to more.

I think Dr. Kaku’s book will get a paperback in early April 2009 in addition to the original hardcover.

A year or so back I came upon this “The Bird’s Brain” blog via TWIS, and I came upon TWIS from http://publicradiofan.com .

Publicradiofan is a free site run by Kevin Kelly, a high school math teacher, cataloging public radio program schedules for internet, radio, podcast and satellite feeds worldwide.

He has a “Shop Amazon” link on the main page if you want to help support. You could then type “Physics of the Impossible” and Amazon gives Kevin a few percent like a finders fee for any purchase. If you have a favorite local book seller, that’s even nicer, of course.

Most excellent!! I have always enjoyed listening to him and my son counts him as one of his science heroes.

We can’t wait to see the rest of these come out!

Dr. Kiki, this was terrific. I have always liked and admired Dr. Kaku, and it seems to me that your interview of him is the best I have seen so far. Great work.
