I couldn't hold a candle to the skills these web-smart whiz-kids have these days, but if you need ever have a need for a pair of eyes & ears in the Vancouver area, give me a shout.

I'd be a pleasure to assist one of the smartest people I've ever encountered.

Good Luck.

Living in England I'm not much use but I do have some free time and skills in 3D graphics and general graphic design. I'd be willing to offer my services as and when required to help out. I can send a sample of my work your way if you're interested, am not looking for payment or advertising.

An example of what I could do. You need a catchy graphic heading to demonstrate points during the show. Graphs turned into 3D and made easier to read by ordinary folk. High quality visualizations of key concepts in science or whatever the subject is that week. I'm not listing my work here in this comment as again I'm not looking to advertise myself and pimp my links. This just sounds like something fun to work on.

Best of luck assembling a killer team.

I may be the oddest one to reply here, Let me start by saying that I also love science, and of course technology, I understand what you are saying, but I think you lack a core principle, yes you want marketing and you want a goto gal/guy fine.

I am not in San Francisco, in fact I am not even from English speaking country, so I can't help, but I can say this, you need a business, strategy and action game plan.

I don't really see where you are going? how you intend to go there? by which means? you say it costs money but what? I mean you need to put out the details in order to get a venture going, if you go out of the free spirited science advocate and intend to convert this into a commercial venture then you are dramatically changing the rules.

And sure any business will cost money, effort and dedication. And you need a clear goal, mission, vision values, etc. defined so that people can or not opt to align themselves to that.

This is like advertising while blogging it's best to make it clear for users that you will monetize your efforts, since the very start or else they feel betray when you try to do it later on.

Thus I would recommend to clearly state what type of project this is, if commercial, then so be it, but be crystal clear about it.

If non-profit state that as well and how it will work. If things are clear then people can commit freely and knowingly, to exactly what this will stand for.

Science is paramount for human evolution, and its diffusion, transmission and understanding by the general population can only better human kind, it's sad that we as a race do not commit or care much about it, only wish to rip it's rewards, but not be involved in the details.

Ergo any effort to change that and make people be passionate about it, is not only welcome but a blessing in the sky. More so when it has such great proponent such as yourself, I really hope you do see the practical side of life, and do not get lost only in the pursuit of truth if not you will have a hard time making this happen.

Any way just wanted to give my 0.02 cents.

Cheers and good luck

Hello Dr. Kiki!

I am very interested in science, especially in science education. I find your work at TWIS to be a very informative and beneficial source of peer-reviewed, fact-based source of scientific information. However my educational back ground is in liberal studies with only an emphasis in physical science. I am really not interested in the pay per se just in the work as I don't think I am as qualified for the position as is necessary and I don't have any back ground in management, business or advertising. But I would love to be involved and I am somewhat local. I just moved back to Stockton last year for medical reasons and according to our five-year plan will be here till my husband graduates from school. So if you are interested please know my hands are available. I graduate from school in December, but my load is not as heavy as in previous times. Good luck and thanks for your work.

Sincerely,

Tennille (Gordon) Littleton

Move TWIS to Detroit, and I'm your gal. There's a lot of movie productions going on in Michigan now because of the tax breaks, perhaps that has spilled over into the radio industry.

I highly enoucrage you on this venture. I have had many discussions on the importance of TWIS, and how this growth is inevitable. I am not independently wealthy, nor higlhy trained in the industry, but I will help in any way possible. Even donations!

Dr Kiki, I love the show and I love science. I'm running the largest advertising website and I would like to offer my help with offering you our community's help (60K people). We can create ads for the show or to get funding for the show... Just let me know what you like me to help with. Cheers!

Unfortunately, I don't think I really have anything to match what you're looking for, but I don't want you to think I'm not listening.

If anything else comes up, put it up and hopefully I can help!

People should be reminded to put TWIS somewhere in the subject line or their e-mail will be sent to oblivion. also I would love to help but can't one of the problems is that I am too far away in Slovenia, Europe. the other problem is that I am still a High School student.

oh and BTW I love the show, thanks for broadcasting....
