And I hope you keep us abreast of your evolving relationship with science and technology. I spent most of my time at Lake Baikal (awesome place). Did you get to experience a Russian banya? That was one of my favorite things in Russia. I also liked visiting dachas, their weekend homes outside the city. I agree that the language barrier is difficult. Their English was usually so much better than my Russian! Maybe you should write a post for this month's Scientae Canival about transitions. It sounds like your relationship with technology might be 'in transition.'
